Dr. Cary. A. Greenwood (Ph.D., U. Oregon), APR, Fellow PRSA, assistant professor, Middle Tennessee State University, teaches public relations campaigns, public relations case studies, and crisis communication in public relations following a 30-plus-year career in public relations and public affairs. She studies whistleblowing, evolutionary theory, organization-public relationships, the Golden Handcuffs, the situational theory of publics, corporate social responsibility and fandom. She has presented at numerous conferences, including the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the International Communication Association, the Eastern Communication Association, Advertising & Consumer Psychology and the Public Relations Society of America. Her work has been published in the Journal of Public Relations Research, Public Relations Review, the Journal of Public Affairs, Communication Research Reports and Journalism History.
